What do we use your information for?
- Information that you may choose to give us, including signing up voluntarily to our email newsletter list or taking part in a marketing or feedback survey, or competition. The lawful basis for collecting this information is explicit consent; namely a positive opt-in.
We use the information we collect from you for the following:
- To send periodic newsletters by email relating to product updates, news and service information etc.
- To administer a competition, promotion, survey or other site feature. If we ask for your email address during the course of a survey, it will only be for the purpose of contacting you to inform you of a prize draw win or to follow up on a specific issue, complaint or problem that you raised during the survey. Survey results are used to help us better understand our customers.
Who do we share your information with?
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. This is necessary in order to provide you with a good service.
We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, protect ours or others rights, property or safety.
If you sign up to our marketing email list, your name and email contact information will be stored by Mailchimp.
How long will we store your data?
In the case of our optional email marketing list, we will keep your details until you ask to be removed from the list or your profile is deemed to be inactive. Every marketing email we send has a link to opt out in the footer. Any personalised survey or competition information will be removed once it has been processed.
